Sketching Lives is a space where ‘I express to explore’, exploring myself and the world around me. What my eyes see, what my ears hear, what my mind comprehends, what my heart feels, and what the world needs is sketched here through the power of words. The objective behind this is to provide the readers with not just some pleasing content, but something which is worth their time and will add value to their lives. I do not intend on changing someone’s perception through my posts but to help people see the newer shades of perspectives. You can find here traces of everything in and around a HuMan’s life with special emphasis on psychology and mental health.
Who am I?
I am Sonal Gour, a closed book seeking to open up through this space. Sonal literally means golden and I believe that no matter how materialistic gold you possess if you don't have a heart of gold, everything is just useless.
I am a student of life and psychology. I've recently completed a Master's in Clinical Psychology. I've been writing poetry since the age of 14 years. I believe poetry is meant to fill the gap between man and manhood. I'm a firm believer in hard work and altruism. And I'm striving hard to become a good human being, a great writer, and an excellent psychologist! I’m no saint but I’ve hopped in the journey of becoming wiser, nicer, kinder, healthier, and happier. Join me, we’ll become the better version of ourselves together!
